It grossed US$1,951,498 from 90 screens for a mighty US$21,683 screen average. This year, only THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 (US$3,774,303) and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER (US$2,399,271) opened bigger.
Meanwhile, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 becomes the top film of 2014 even as it leaps past the previous Spidey pic to become the 7th highest grossing film of all time in Singapore. It has amassed US$6,806,819 (S$8,513,493) to date and looks set to challenge THE DARK KNIGHT RISES (S$8,945,251) and KUNGFU PANDA 2 (S$8,959,626) in the coming weeks.
