New films from Wong Jing, Guy Ritchie and Zhang Yimou open

Singapore - Wong Jing's ONCE UPON A TIME IN HONG KONG (PG13) and Guy Ritchie's WRATH OF MAN (M18) open wide on Thursday (29 Apr), while Zhang Yimou's CLIFF WALKERS (NC16) starts on Friday (30 Apr).

Other debuts include THE SUPERDEEP (NC16), JOSEE, THE TIGER AND THE FISH (PG) and the Singapore-Taiwan collaboration PRECIOUS IS THE NIGHT (M18).

NOBODY gets kicked into cinemas

Singapore - NOBODY (NC16) kicks its way into theatres island wide.

Other debuts include ALL U NEED IS LOVE (PG13), THE HYPNOSIS (NC16), DAD! I'M SORRY (PG), DETECTIVE CONAN: THE SCARLET BULLET (PG13), THE DEVIL BELOW (PG13) and AWOKEN (M18).

LAND (NC16) opens exclusively at the Projector, while LATE SHIFT (NC16) - billed as the world's first cinematic interactive movie opens at three Golden Village cinemas.

New MORTAL KOMBAT battles it out in cinemas

Singapore - The battle begins as MORTAL KOMBAT (M18) launches in cineplexes. Other debuts include THE MAURITANIAN (NC16) and VOYAGERS (NC16).

PENGUNGGANG AGAMA opens exclusively on 8 Cathay screens, while multiple Oscar nominee JUDAS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH (M18) opens at the Projector.

SEOBOK (PG13) will sneak in theatres on Wednesday after the weekend.

HI, MOM opens in Singapore cinemas

Singapore - HI, MOM (PG13) - which recently became the second highest grossing film of all time in China (and is still showing) is the widest release this week.

Mark Lee's feature-length directorial debut, HELL BANK PRESENTS: RUNNING GHOST (PG13) also debut alongside CRISIS (NC16), THE REASON I JUMP (PG13), THE BOX (PG), HERSELF (NC16) and the Oscar nominated SOUND OF METAL ((NC16).

Sneak previews include NOBODY (NC16) and JUDAS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH (M18).
