Singapore - MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT (PG13) debuts across the island this weekend with premium options that include IMAX 3D. Screenings start with previews on Wednesday (25 July).

DETECTIVE DEE: THE FOUR HEAVENLY KINGS 狄仁杰之四大天王 (PG13), THE WHISPERING (PG13) (4 Cathay screens) and 50 FIRST KISSES (PG) (4 GV screens) also debut.

SKYSCRAPER towers over box office

Singapore  - After being denied a top debut last week, SKYSCRAPER (PG13) changes positions with ANT-MAN AND THE WASP (PG) to become the new no. 1 film this weekend. The Rock action pic has now grossed US$1,617,194 while the latest Marvel pic has accumulated US$3,621,575.

SICARIO: DAY OF THE SOLDADO (NC16) is the top debut with US$109,486 from 25 screens.

Other new releases include UNFRIENDED: DARK WEB (M18), SECRETS IN THE HOT SPRING 切小金家的旅馆 (PG13), THE MERMAID: LAKE OF THE DEAD (PG13) (8 screens), SIBERIA (R21) (3 screens) and K SEVEN STORIES EPISODE 1 [R:B ~BLAZE~] (PG) (GV Plaza only).

SKYSCRAPER (PG13) debuts at no. 2 with premium options in 3D and IMAX 3D. Its total gross is US$905,444 (including previews).

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: A MONSTER VACATION (PG13) starts at no. 3 with US$405,142.

Also opening wide is BROTHER OF THE YEAR (PG13).

SHOPLIFTERS (M18) opens on 4 GV screens while SWIMMING WITH MEN (PG13) begins on 3 Shaw screens.
