Singapore - One Marvel pic replaces another as X-MEN: APOCALYPSE (PG13) knocks CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR (PG) into the runner-up position. It reportedly became Fox's biggest opening film ever with US$2.79m from 158 screens*. Premium formats include 3D and IMAX 3D.
MONEY MONSTER (M18) dips one spot to third place while THE NICE GUYS (M18) debuts in fourth place with US$55,705 (S$76,829). Rounding up the top five is THE JUNGLE BOOK (PG).
Also new this week: THE MAN WHO KNEW INFINITY (PG) and ELVIS & NIXON (PG13).
Meanwhile, CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR (PG) is reported to have grossed S$11.04m (US$8m).
