Singapore - The detective continues his investigation as MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS (PG) spends a second week at no. 1. Meanwhile, COCO (PG) climbs a notch up to no. 2. As reported in Deadline, the Pixar hit has been performing strongly in many territories, including Singapore where it only dips 7% in its third weekend. Its cume currently stands at US$1,210,432.
PADDINGTON 2 (PG) is the highest debut in fourth place (with premium options that include IMAX).
Also squeezing into the top ten are new releases A TAXI DRIVER (PG13) (9 screens) and BIRTH OF THE DRAGON (PG) (8 Cathay screens) and no. 9 and no. 10 respectively.
Other debuts include SERPENT (NC16) and MADAME (M18) playing on a single screen at Lido. Indian-Singapore co-production CHENNAI 2 SINGAPORE (PG13), which opens on 2 Cathay screens is the 10th local release of the year.
