A SIMPLE FAVOR (M18 Edited) and THE MYSTERY OF BURMA: BEYOND THE DOTE-HTA-WADDY (PG13) are the other two new entries in the top ten. FAVOR is the 11th edited release this year and collected US$90,536 from 14 screens; MYSTERY grossed an estimated US$34,492 from 5 Cathay screens.
Other arrivals include THE HAPPYTIME MURDERS (M18), BEL CANTO (NC16) (7 screens) and MANDY (R21) (3 screens).
Filipino film THE HOWS OF US (PG13) opens on Friday (14 Sep) at 3 GV cinemas.
Among holdovers, CRAZY RICH ASIANS (PG13) has banked an estimated US$4,759,133 while BIG BROTHER 大师兄 (PG13) has collected an estimated US$1,091,544.
