Singapore - SOUL (PG) claims the top spot for a second weekend, even though Tamil blockbuster MASTER (NC16) made much more. According to a report in Deadline, MASTER grossed US$750K over the weekend, compared to SOUL's US$127,407.
Box office receipts from distributors of Indian movies are not collated together with the other commercial films distributed by Cinematograph Film Exhibitors Association - which covers all the other major commercial film distributors in Singapore - hence the discrepancy.
STIGMATIZED PROPERTIES (PG13), THE VIGIL (NC16) and ANDRE AND HIS OLIVE TREE (PG) debut at positions 7, 8 and 9 respectively.
