Local flick MR. UNBELIEVABLE is the top screen average performer with US$6,669. The Ong Kuo Sin helmed comedy starring Golden Horse nominated actor Chan Tian Wen playing on 17 screens has taken in US$236,767 as of its second weekend.
Last week's reigning champ THE LAST DINOSAUR retreats one spot to no. 2. Total cume now stands at US$1,859,093.
No other new film managed to crack the top ten this week except for family comedy LOVE THE COOPERS (PG13) at no. 10 (US$49,059 / 13 screens).
Other debuts incluce crime thriller THE VANISHED MURDERER 消失的凶手 (PG13) (US$25,612 / 6 screens), Hideo Nakata's GHOST THEATER (PG13) (figures N.A. / 5 screens), horror comedy COOTIES (NC16) (US$3,293 / 2 screens) and Western cannibal horror BONE TOMAHAWK (R21) (figures N.A. / 1 screen).
