Singapore - Four films open wide this weekend, led by COLD PURSUIT (NC16 Edited) and followed by FALL IN LOVE AT FIRST KISS 一吻定情 (PG), HAPPY DEATH DAY 2U (PG13) and A DOG'S WAY HOME (PG13). COLD PURSUIT is the 2nd edited release of the year, and the 2nd in which an edited version is released in lieu of a "Passed Clean" version with a more restrictive rating.
Other debuts include SERENITY (M18) (10 screens), MISTERI DILAILA (PG13) (8 Cathay screens) and A LAND IMAGINED 幻土 (NC16) (6 screens). LAND, the first Singapore film to win the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival is the 4th local release of the year.
The IMAX 3D version of SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE (PG13) also opens.
MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS (M18) sneaks over the weekend.
On the art house circuit, C'EST LA VIE! (NC16?) and FREE SOLO (PG13) start their limited screenings at the Projector from Thursday (21 Feb) and Sunday (24 Feb) respectively.
Note: The MISTERI DILAILA opening is a Version 2 that is passed clean and rated PG13. Version 1 is rated PG13 Passed Clean (Edited) and NC16 Passed Clean.
