FURIOUS 6 maintains lead as HANGOVER III Opens Big!
3 Jun 2013
SINGAPORE - FAST & FURIOUS 6 maintains its lead over new arrivals, including THE HANGOVER PART III which scores one of the biggest openings for a M18 rated film.
FURIOUS 6 dips an understandable 59.7% and adds another US$927,441 which totals up to US$3,933,147 so far. It's already outgrossed FAST & FURIOUS 5 (US$3,514,117) to become the top film in the lucrative franchise and is currently the 4th highest grossing film of 2013.
FURIOUS 6 is now on course to finish with US$4.6m-US$5.5m - much lower than the US$6m projected last week but still fantastic numbers overall for a film released without any 3D or IMAX screens.
