Singapore - HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON: THE HIDDEN WORLD (PG) opens with premium options including 3D. Other debuts include MISSBEHAVIOR 恭喜八婆 (M18), A PRIVATE WAR (M18) and A JOURNEY OF HAPPINESS 玩转全家福 (PG). Specialty release NON-FICTION (M18) starts at the Projector. 

THE FAVOURITE (R21) sneaks on Sat and Sun, 2-3 Feb.

ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL (PG13) (including 3D and IMAX 3D options), KILLER NOT STUPID 杀手不笨 (PG13) and THE KNIGHT OF SHADOWS: BETWEEN YIN AND YANG 神探蒲松龄 (PG) will sneak on Mon (4 Feb) and open on Tue (5 Feb). KILLER from director Jack Neo is the 2nd local release of the year.

GLASS is no. 1 for a 2nd weekend

Singapore - GLASS (PG13) spends a second weekend at no. 1. It grossed US$167,672 for a US$526,045 total. ESCAPE ROOM (PG13) holds steady at no. 2 with US$86,796 and a US$594,340 cume.

GREEN BOOK (PG13) is the top debut at no. 3 with US$57,943. ONE CUT OF THE DEAD (NC16) makes an appearance at no. 10 with an estimated US$17,938.

Other debuts include HOMESTAY (PG13), MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM NT (NARRATIVE) (PG) (8 GV screens), GUARDIAN ANGEL (PG) (5 Cathay screens) and SCHINDLER'S LIST 25TH ANNIVERSARY (M18).

GREEN BOOK, ONE CUT and HOMESTAY debut

Singapore - It's the second last weekend before the Lunar New Year. Opening wide is Oscar nominee GREEN BOOK (PG13), the independent horror comedy box office sensation from Japan ONE CUT OF THE DEAD (NC16) and Thai fantasy drama thriller HOMESTAY (PG13).

Debuts on selected screens include MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM NT (NARRATIVE) (PG) (8 GV screens), GUARDIAN ANGEL (PG) (5 Cathay screens) and SCHINDLER'S LIST 25TH ANNIVERSARY (M18).

Specialty releases include concert film BTS WORLD TOUR LOVE YOURSELF IN SEOUL (PG) (7 Shaw screens on 26 Jan only) and gay theme documentary THE SILK AND THE FLAME (M18) at the Projector (from 26 Jan).

SWING KIDS (NC16), AIRPOCALYPSE 天气预爆 (PG) (5 screens), THE VANISHING (NC16) (4 Shaw screens) and THE OLD MAN & THE GUN (PG13) (Lido, Projector) debut outside the top ten.

Specialty release STORM BOY (PG) opens at two new independent cinemas - Salt Media @ Capital Towers and EagleWings Cinematics.

Among holdovers, ESCAPE ROOM (PG13) has grossed US$464,553 to date, while Taiwanese tearjerker MORE THAN BLUE 比悲伤更悲伤的故事  (PG13) has grossed an estimated US$1,368,956.
