ANNABELLE COME HOME to theatres

Singapore - ANNABELLE COMES HOME (PG13) opens on Wednesday, 26 June.

LOVE THE WAY YOU ARE 我的青春都是你 (PG) debuts island wide on Thursday, 27 June. Other new releases on Thursday include PARASITE (M18), THE WOLF'S CALL (PG13 Edited) and THE WHITE CROW (M18) (Lido exclusive).

LE CHANT DU LOUP (PG13 Edited), the French version of THE WOLF'S CALL also opens at Lido. WOLF is the 9th edited release of the year, and the 5th in which a "Pass Clean" version with a more restrictive rating was also passed on for the theatrical release.

TOY STORY 4 debuts with US$861K

Singapore - TOY STORY 4 (PG) opens at no. 1 with US$860,673. Premium options include 3D and IMAX 3D.

ANNA (M18) opens at no. 5 with US$77,064 from 23 screens. INVINCIBLE DRAGON 九龙不败 (PG13 Edited) is the other top ten debut at no. 7. It's also the eighth edited release of the year, and the fourth in which an edited cut is released in lieu of a "passed clean" version with a more restrictive rating.

KINGDOM (PG13) and KUNTILANAK 2 (NC16) are the other two debuts this past weekend.

Other new releases include ANNA (M18), INVINCIBLE DRAGON 九龙不败 (PG13 Edited), KINGDOM (PG13) and KUNTILANAK 2 (NC16). DRAGON is the eighth edited release of the year, and the fourth in which an edited cut is released in lieu of a "passed clean" version with a more restrictive rating.

ANNABELLE COMES HOME (PG13) sneaks on 25 June, Tuesday and opens on 26 June, Wednesday. PARASITE (M18) sneaks over the weekend. 

MIB: INTERNATIONAL claims no. 1 with US$998K

Singapore - MEN IN BLACK: INTERNATIONAL (PG13) opens with US$998,235 from 107 screens. Premium options include 3D and IMAX 3D.

Other new releases include ROCKETMAN (R21) (US$55,224), THE QUEEN'S CORGI (PG), DETECTIVE CONAN: THE FIST OF BLUE SAPPHIRE (PG), KRASUE: INHUMAN KISS (NC16), ROH FASIK (PG13) and 0.0MHZ (NC16).

On the specialty front, DEMONS (M18) opens with three sessions on 15 and 16 June at FilmGarde Bugis+. It's the 5th local film to be released theatrically this year.

Among holdovers, ALADDIN (PG) has grossed US$3,496,244; while X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX (PG13) has accumulated US$1,861,000.

THE HEART OF MAN (PG13) opened with limited screenings at Salt Media @Capital Towers from last Wednesday, 5 June. 

Among holdovers, ALADDIN (PG) had grossed US$2,919,205; while GODZILLA II: KING OF THE MONSTERS (PG13) has drummed up an estimated US$1.97K.

X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX rises

GODZILLA II debuts at No. 1!

Singapore - GODZILLA II: KING OF THE MONSTERS (PG13) stomps to the top of the box office. Premium options include 3D and IMAX 3D.

THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS 2 (PG) opens in third place, also with 3D and IMAX 3D options. It grossed US$305,995 for a US$401,136 cume to date from 34 screens.

SADAKO (PG13) also debuts in the  top ten at no. 8.

Among holdovers, ALADDIN (PG) has collected US$1,946,300; JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 3 (M18) has amassed US$1,241,175; while record holder AVENGERS: ENDGAME (PG13) pushed its total gross up to US$14,116,230.
