Singapore - The Hindi language Cirkus from director producer Rohit Shetty is the widest opening film this weekend. It's on screens from the three largest cinema chains as well as independent cinema, The Projector.

Laal Singh Chaddha, the Indian remake of Forrest Gump is the highest debut at no. 4.
Local box office for most films are seldom publicly reported, and films released by distributors who are not members of the Cinematograph Film Exhibitors Association are never included in the weekly top ten.
However, Laal Singh Chaddha is that rare Indian film being distributed by United International Pictures, hence its inclusion in the charts.

Tamil blockbuster 'Vikram' opens wide
Singapore - Tamil action thriller Vikram is the widest new release this week across all the major cinema chains.
