Singapore - Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 is the widest release this week, including IMAX screens. The Indian period action adventure film is available in both Tamil and Hindi versions and starts on Friday.
Other wide debuts include the disaster rescue film, Flashover from Oxide Pang and Guy Ritchie's The Covenant. Also new is the thriller, To Catch a Killer starring Shailene Woodley, Indonesian horror Khanzab, Finnish action film Sisu and The Malay horror comedy, Sumpahan Malam Raya.

Singapore - Evil Dead Rise opens in selected theatres across the island. Other horror flicks also rising in cinemas this week include Thailand's Inhuman Kiss 2 and two films from Indonesia: Sewu Dino and Iblis Dalam Darah.
Romance One True Loves, South Korean sports drama Rebound and the Malay animated Didi & Friends The Movie are the other new releases.
