A WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES debuts at no. 2 with US$356,339 from 40 screens for a so-so US$8,908 screen average. Neeson's last outing, NON-STOP burst onto the scene with US$952,515 from 48 screens for a muscular US$19,844 screen average earlier this year.
Other debuts include THE PURGE: ANARCHY (US$236,306 including sneaks / 23 screens), THIS IS WHERE I LEAVE YOU (US$59,776 including sneaks / 22 screens), THE DAMNED (US$11,181 / 3 screens), THE ROVER (US$2,867 / 2 screens) and THE LONGEST WEEK (figures unavailable).
Meanwhile, local horror omnibus AFTERIMAGES has grossed US$117,629 after two weekends (figures unavailable last week).
Overall, the Top 10 films grossed US$1,679,922, a 27.2% dip from the last weekend but a 82.11% increase from the same frame a year ago when 2 GUNS debut at no. 1.
