Singapore - THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN (PG13) debut atop with an estimated US$368,705 (S$500K, including IMAX). STORKS (PG) lands in the runner-up spot with an estimated US$221K (S$300k).

Last week's top film SULLY (PG13) drops to third place. It's cume currently stands at US$846K (S$1.15m). 

Other debuts include A CHINESE ODYSSEY PART THREE 大话西游 3 (PG13), FLORENCE FOSTER JENKINS (PG) and THE 9TH LIFE OF LOUIS DRAX (PG13).

THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS #1 for a 2nd Weekend

Singapore - THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS (PG) holds onto no. 1 for a second weekend, grossing an additional US$490K for a US$2.1m cume. *

SULLY (PG13) is the highest debut with an estimated US$355K (S$480K), followed by KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS (PG) with US$203K. **

MY LOVE, SINEMA 放映爱 (PG), the 10th local release of the year picks up an estimated US$49,192 (S$66,424).

Other debuts include MIKE AND DAVE NEED WEDDING DATES (M18) and CAFE SOCIETY (PG).

PETS dominate while TRAIN TO BUSAN continues to soar

Singapore - THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS (PG) opens at no. 1 with premium offerings including 3D and IMAX 3D.

Other debuts include PETE'S DRAGON (PG) (also in 3D), MECHANIC: RESURRECTION (NC16), WAR DOGS (M18) and LIFE ON THE LINE (PG13).

Meanwhile, there's no stopping TRAIN TO BUSAN (NC16). Despite dropping into second place, the zombie thriller grossed a further US$338,554 (S$460,258) and reached a new peak of US$3.24m (S$4.41m). It's now the highest grossing Asian film of the year ahead of MERMAID 美人鱼 (PG) (US$3,110,642) and LONG LONG TIME AGO 我们的故事 (PG13) (US$2,951,207).
