PETS dominate while TRAIN TO BUSAN continues to soar

Singapore - THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS (PG) opens at no. 1 with premium offerings including 3D and IMAX 3D.

Other debuts include PETE'S DRAGON (PG) (also in 3D), MECHANIC: RESURRECTION (NC16), WAR DOGS (M18) and LIFE ON THE LINE (PG13).

Meanwhile, there's no stopping TRAIN TO BUSAN (NC16). Despite dropping into second place, the zombie thriller grossed a further US$338,554 (S$460,258) and reached a new peak of US$3.24m (S$4.41m). It's now the highest grossing Asian film of the year ahead of MERMAID 美人鱼 (PG) (US$3,110,642) and LONG LONG TIME AGO 我们的故事 (PG13) (US$2,951,207).
