Singapore - THE LION KING (PG) continues to roar at no. 1 for a second weekend. It has grossed US$2,515,110 to date. The top three remains unchanged with SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME (PG) (US$6,542,501 cume) and THE WHITE STORM 2: DRUG LORDS 《扫毒 2:天地对决》 (NC16) (est. US$700K cume) in the next two positions.
MA (NC16) is the highest debut at no. 4 with US$108,507, including last week's sneak previews. CURSES (M18) is the only other top ten debut.
LOOKING UP 《银河补习班》 (PG) debut on Thursday, while these two other films opened on Friday (26 July): DANCING ELEPHANT 《跳舞吧!大象》 (PG) and the
premium priced DORAEMON: NOBITA'S CHRONICLE OF THE MOON EXPLORATION
(PG).
On the specialty front, AMAZING GRACE (PG) opened
at The Projector on Thursday, while IF BEALE
STREET COULD TALK (M18) was screened on Sunday, 27 July only at
Golden Village Suntec.
