ANGEL remains at no. 1; PONTIANAK debuts at no. 2

Singapore - ANGEL HAS FALLEN (NC16) lies at no. 1 for a second weekend. The Gerard Butler pic has grossed US$4,013,002 to date.

REVENGE OF THE PONTIANAK (PG13) leads five new films into the top ten. PONTIANAK, the 6th local film to screen in cinemas this year from directors Glen Goei and Gavin Yap opens with an estimated US$180,100.

Other top ten debuts include 47 METERS DOWN: UNCAGED (PG13) (US$128,472), DORA AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD (PG), THE BRAVEST《烈火英雄》(PG13) (est. US$68,252) and SANGKAR (PG13).

PLAYMOBIL: THE MOVIE (PG) debuts with US$6,002 from 15 screens. WARNING: DO NOT PLAY (NC16) also debuts. SICCIN 6 (NC16) and JUST A STRANGER (NC16) start on Friday (30 Aug) at selected Golden Village cinemas.
