Singapore - The top three remain unchanged as SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS (PG13) remained at no. 1 for a fourth week. The Marvel pic has now grossed US$4,510,069.
DUNE (PG13) and ESCAPE ROOM 2: TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS (PG13) hold steady at no. 2 and 3 respectively.
CANDYMAN (M18) is the highest debut at no. 4. THE GREEN KNIGHT (M18) enters at no. 7, and GUIMOON: THE LIGHTLESS DOOR (NC16) at no. 9.

SHANG-CHI overtakes BLACK WIDOW after just 2 weeks
Singapore - SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS (PG13) drops a slim 13.5% and grabs another US$1,226,100 for a US$3,159,398 cume. These are fantastic numbers that have already overtaken BLACK WIDOW (PG13) after just two weeks. BW's current gross stands at US$2,116,561 after ten weeks.
THE BABY BOSS: FAMILY BUSINESS (PG) debuts with US$164,000 and is the second highest grossing film of the week.
Other new releases that make it into the top ten include MALIGNANT (M18) at no. 4 and THE CURSED: DEAD MAN'S PREY (PG13) at no. 8.

Singapore - BABY BOSS: FAMILY BUSINESS (PG) and MALIGNANT (M18) open wide in cinemas this week. Other debuts include THE CURSED: DEAD MAN'S PREY (PG13), QUEENPINS (NC16) and DRIVE MY CAR (R21).
Indian film THALAIVII (PG) also opens on Friday with both Hindi and Tamil versions at different venues.

Singapore - SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS (PG13) opens at no. 1 with a Thursday-thru-Sunday gross of US$1,417,450 and US$1,597,685 including the Wednesday it opened on.
In comparison, BLACK WIDOW (PG13) opened with US$949,860 (presumably for the 5 days from Wednesday through Sunday); FAST & FURIOUS 9 (PG13) started with sneak previews and netted an estimated US$952,940 (S$1.28m) from Thursday thru Sunday; GODZILLA VS. KONG (PG13) presumably has the biggest start of the year so far with an estimated US$1.62m (S$2.19m) (5 days over Wednesday thru Sunday).
