EPIC, the latest animated fantasy adventure from the creators of ICE AGE takes off with US$525,959 and a decent US$12,523 screen average from 42 screens, including 3D. Look for a finish in the range of US$1.1-US$1.9m.
The latest live action blockbuster getting the 3D re-release treatment, JURASSIC PARK 3D opens on 12 screens for a US$79,225 total to date (including two IMAX 3D screens). The original film grossed around US$2.89m (S$4.7m) in 1993.

Overall, the top ten films grossed US$2,774,935, down 21% from last week but up 4.91% from a year ago when SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN was no.1 at the box office.
