Singapore - GEMINI MAN (PG13) opens island wide in IMAX, IMAX 3D HFR, 3D HFR, 3D and 2D.
Also opening wide is THE CLIMBERS《攀登者》(PG). Other releases include TWO BLUE STRIPS (PG) (6 Cathay screens) (Indonesian), HERO (PG13) (3 Cathay screens) (Indonesian) and THE SPIRIT OF RAMAYANA (NC16) (Thai).
ABOMINABLE (PG) sneaks at selected cinemas from 14 through 16 October.
On the specialty front, SO LONG, MY SON《地久天长》(PG) begins with selected sessions from 12 October, Saturday at the Oldham Theatre. THE CAT RESCUERS (PG13) kick off with a fundraising screening on 13 October, Sunday at the Projector, followed by limited sessions thereafter. MA MA (NC16) (Burmese) screens on 13 October at Carnival Cinemas Shaw Tower.
Concert film METALLICA & SAN FRANCISCO SYMPHONY: S&M2 (PG13) plays over the weekend at two Golden Village cinemas.
Indian cinema releases from 11 October, Friday include THE SKY IS PINK (PG13) (Hindi), ARUVAM (PG13) (Tamil) and PETROMAX (PG13) (Tamil). PUPPY (PG13) (Tamil) and GANAGANDHARVAN (PG) (Malayalam) open exclusively at Carnival Cinemas.
Note: Indian cinema will be included regularly as of this week's post. However, box office information continues to be unavailable, and the films continue to be excluded from the weekly box office tally by the Cinematograph Film Exhibitors Association.
