GEMINI MAN (PG13) is the highest debut at no. 2 with an estimated US$488K (S$670K). Premium options include IMAX, IMAX 3D HFR, 3D HFR and 3D.
THE CLIMBERS《攀登者》(PG) start off at no. 4 with an estimated US$63,946 (S$87,860).
Other debuts include TWO BLUE STRIPS (PG) (6 Cathay screens) (Indonesian), HERO (PG13) (3 Cathay screens) (Indonesian) and THE SPIRIT OF RAMAYANA (NC16) (Thai).
Specialty releases include SO LONG, MY SON《地久天长》(PG) from 12 October, Saturday at the Oldham Theatre. MA MA (NC16) (Burmese) screens on 13 October, Sunday at Carnival Cinemas Shaw Tower.
Indian cinema releases from 11 October, Friday include THE SKY IS PINK (PG13) (Hindi), ARUVAM (PG13) (Tamil) and PETROMAX (PG13) (Tamil). PUPPY (PG13) (Tamil) and GANAGANDHARVAN (PG) (Malayalam) open exclusively at Carnival Cinemas.
Among holdovers, THE CAPTAIN《中国机长》(PG) has grossed an estimated US$349K (S$480K) to date.
