KFP3 and ZOOTOPIA keep newcomers from no. 1

Singapore - KUNG FU PANDA 3 (G) and ZOOTOPIA (PG) continue their dominance of the box office. While KFP3 grossed US$774,565 for a US$3,265,669 cume, ZOOTOPIA continues to impress with its holding power. As it concludes it fourth weekend, it collects a further US$712,808 - the highest in all its four weekends and a total of US$3,358,896 to date.

The majority of releases sees their highest takings in their first weekend. For a film to perform strongest in its fourth weekend is nothing short of amazing.

The week's widest new release THE DIVERGENT SERIES: ALLEGIANT (PG13) debuts in third place with US$649,146 from 50 screens. It's the lowest start for the franchise whose first film started with US$962,731 from 58 screens, and the second, INSURGENT with US$881,352 from 56 screens.

LONDON HAS FALLEN (NC16) dips slightly to no. 4 while the faith-based RISEN (PG13) is the second highest new film at no. 5.

Other entrants include the edited for M18 rated TRIPLE 9, SISTERS (NC16), iGIRL梦情人 (PG13), TRUTH (M18) and THE NEW ADVENTURES OF ALADDIN (PG13).
