DETENTION《返校》(NC16) and A SHAUN THE SHEEP MOVIE: FARMAGEDDON (PG) also debut in the top ten at positions 5 and 9 respectively.
Opening on selected screens were RIDE YOUR WAVE (PG) (Japanese), THE SPECIALS (NC16) (French), THE GREAT MYANMAR (PG) (Burmese) and CLOSE TO THE HORIZON (M18) (German). THE WHISTLEBLOWER《吹哨人》(PG13) opened on Friday (6 Dec).
Among holdovers, FROZEN II (PG) has now taken US$4,618,829; KNIVES OUT (PG13 Edited) has grossed US$441,519 while LAST CHRISTMAS (NC16) is at US$175,107.
Specialty releases at the Projector included MONOS (M18) (Spanish) from Sunday (8 Dec).
